I was going to put this in the what's happening section but then thought it important enough to make it a separate article.
There are guns laws that are changing and some are changing immediately while some do not change until September 1, 2011. These laws are not just for concealed carry holders they apply to all legal weapon holders.
Senate Bill 321 - Prevents employers from preventing employees from transporting and storing a legally owned gun in their vehicle while parked at work. This bill takes effect 9/01/2011. The full bill can be read here
House Bill 25 - Allows for legally owned guns to be carried on your boat just as in your motor home or travel trailor. This bill takes effect 9/01/2011. The full bill can be read here
House Bill 716 - Allows for the hunting of feral hogs and coyotes from helicopters. This bill takes effect 9/01/2011. The full bill can be read here.
House Bill 2560 - This law prevents Child Protective Services from enacting laws that would prevent the ability of foster parents from transporting a foster child while carrying a legally owned and stored gun in the foster parents vehicle.
