Ammunition

The Type of Ammunition Does Matter - CCI Shot Shell Ammuntion - The Varmint Round

Another informal review brought to you be me.  This review is of a fantastic new ammunition that I discovered.

I am not sure how long they have actually been manufacturing it but I just discovered it about 6 months ago.  The ammunition is made by CCI and is shot shell for revolvers.  You read that right shot shells for revolvers.  It is the perfect pest control round.

Let's get the stats out of the way -

The CCI ammo comes in multiple calibers, some are for either semi-auto and revolver and others are only for revolvers and not meant to cycle in a semi-auto.

My two favorite calibers are the as follows:

22 lr - 1/15 oz #12 shot, approx 165 pellets

not meant for semi-autos and can not be reloaded

Muzzle Velocity - 1000 fps

Range - 250 yards

Cost 6.99 at my local gun shop for 20 shot shells

and

38 Spec/357 Mag - 1/4 oz #9 Shot, approx 135 pellets

not meant for semi-autos and can not be reloaded

Muzzle Velocity - 1000 fps

Cost 13.99 at my local gun shop for 10 shot shells
