Bulldog Cases Extreme Concealed Cell Phone Style Carry Holster
July 30, 2010
Bulldog Cases states that this holster will fit small .380 style pistols such as Taurus TCP, Ruger LCP, Kel Tec P-3AT and the Kel Tec P32.
When I ordered this holster in order to do a review I also found that Uncle Mike's makes a PDA style holster. I will review the Uncle Mike's in a separate article and then compare the two once I have fully tested both.
The Bulldog Extreme PDA holster appears to be really well made with durable stitching, a solid belt/attachment clip and double stitched belt loop. The belt attachment holds the holster securely in place without needing to wear a belt. It is too heavy with the gun it in to wear with clothing that has any type of elastic waistband but when wearing solid waistband clothing it is very well balanced and holds very nicely in place. I really like that when I am driving I have my gun easily accessible and not in the way of my seat belt.
I immediately like the two magnetic snap closures on the front for secure closure and super fast accessiblity.
The inside of the case is padded to ensure your gun is not scratched and allows for extra protection during daily activities when wearing.
My favorite feature of this PDA Style holster is the two small finger sized opeings on the bottom that allow for a faster draw or what Bulldog calls "one hand quick draw design". These openings allow you to use your thumb to open the magnetic snaps while at the same time using your index or middle finger to push up for gun allowing for the butt of the gun to be quickly grabbed. This can be done in a relatively quick and smooth fashion with a little practice.
The first few days I had the holster I put my empty gun in and practiced the draw repeatedly during the day to ensure I would be able to smoothly draw when I leave the house with my loaded gun. This, of course, is important with any holster...........practice until it is natural before you leave the house with it.
I will wear the holster for a minimum of 2 - 4 weeks and return to complete the review with any and all finding with this holster

After wearing the holster for a week at this point I can report that I am very pleased with it. The belt/attachment clip holds the holster securely in place without needing to wear a belt. It is too heavy with the gun it in to wear with clothing that has any type of elastic waistband but when wearing solid waistband clothing it is very well balanced and holds very nicely in place. I really like that when I am driving I have my gun easily accessible and not in the way of my seat belt.
It is also nice to know that the holster is on top of your clothing and you don't have to struggle with anything to get to it and open it. I have worn it every day when I leave the house and even when I am just doing chores outside and it does not get in the way and has never come lose or jiggled around.
I have not noticed it draw any unwanted attention as it appears to be a PDA holster.
The duribility seems to be as good as it appeared and it seems very resistant to stains. Or at least they do not show due to the matted material and the black color. They are available in other colors also. I believe they were even available in pink!
I will continue to wear the holster and report again.

I have continued to carry the Bulldog PDA style holster almost every day since July 30th. I have to say this holster is great! I continue to practice drawing from it everyday. I need to switch holsters so I can try the other one I purchased for my Kel Tec also but I just hate to mess with the convenience this holster offers and the super durability. I like this holster so much I am seriously thinking of getting it in more colors so I can color coordinate it better. I highly recommend this holster for the small style semi-auto pistols. Just remember, your equipment is only as good as you. This is a dependable well made PDA-style holster that offeres great accessability but it will only be as good as you are by practicing your draw and making it become muscle memory.
