Today was another beautiful spring day in Texas. It was so beautiful I thought Mom and I should shoot some targets so she can practice with her new little six shooter revolver.

Yesterday I went to Wal-mart to pick up some 30-30 ammunition and thought I would check to see if they finally had some .22 lr ammunition in.

It turned out to be a beautiful day in Texas and a perfect day to go the the outdoor range. The plan was to go for just an hour or so to get the borrowed rifle zeroed and head home. Yeah, right! After I took the first shot with that Marlin 336 30-30 I was hooked.
